Oh why would they push the release date more than six months? And they're still splitting the movie into two with the release date of the second part a year after the first?

Hmm I thought the Christmas release dates worked alright.. like the summer release did too!
I think it's unbearably cruel and inhumane to let people suffer for a whole, entire year for the ending. Like it was with the LotR movies... I was so angry and impatient when I walked out of the theater after having seen TTT!!

Snape pictures!!!!! Finally! I thought there was no Snape in this film. Just kidding I'm still a bit annoyed by the news even though there's new pictures.

And did you see what what's-his-face from WB said? I quote -

*drools over third Snape pic* What do you think he's doing there? I like Jim Broadbent a lot. Sure, he's definitely not fat enough nor does he have a walrus mustache, but he does give off the right look. As for the Unbreakable Vow scene, I think I'll have to actually see all of it before I comment. At least it's in the movie.

Do these pics look fake to you guys? I mean, the third one has some odd sparkly things on it and in the second Dumby's wand is lit funny...

It may be just post/or pre-production photos, whatever it is before the movie is edited with special effects and coloring and editing and such... so maybe that is why everything looks a bit odd because it isn't finished yet...

As for Jim.. he does have a certain Slughorn look to him... but still not exactly what I envisioned... then again I was worried about Dolores Umbridge not being... toady enough and she turned out brilliant in the movie... soooo I'll have to see it... to judge it

I read that today and kind of went "Are you KIDDING?" Nothing, absolutely nothing, with this release being pushed back is done for the fans. It's all for the money. Fans will go see it whenever it comes out.

I'd buy a pirated copy in a heart beat if I knew where to get one. Seriously, the movie is finished people except for maybe some post production stuff. Otherwise, it's done, and it's going to sit around until someone decides to do something with it. It would be total payback if a copy leaked to the public.

@ JF: [concerning the pics] Thank goodness I'm not the only one weirded out by these pics. What is with the sparkly turquoise stuff? It looks like someone was having a bit of fun with Photoshop or something.

I don't remember the necklace but I'm sure there's a reason for it. And yeah, I concur with the people who mentioned that the pictures are from the shooting and without the editing and finish for the movie. You can actually see the strings holding the necklace so it looks like Snape moves it only with his wand, they just need to erase them in their highly advanced version of Photoshop.

Eh.. that turquoise whatever just looks way too fake to make me think it's part of the actual movie. There is indeed a locket in the story, but neither Snape nor McGonagall would have any reason to be near it. I don't even think either of them ever knew about it.
