Hmmm, my mom seems to think that I really like vampires, so she keeps trying to get me to read other things with vampires. And I keep telling her that no, I do not like vampires, I just happen to like Twilight. xD
Ya know, I almost wish they weren't vampires.... Might make Edward a bit less of a Marty-Sam.
Anyway.

Yeah, I haven't seen a good comedy in a while.
Now...I may get tomatoes thrown at me for saying this...
But I kinda like the Twilight universe. I mean, the vampires are kinda new and interesting, and the werewolves are awesome. I can't stand Bella and Edward, but there are some minor characters that I love. Like, Seth and Carlisle and Leah...

Yeah, I like that the vampires are unique. That's good. But they're a bit... Sue-ish. Beautiful, good at everything, etc.
But the minor characters are made of win. Shame Bella and Edward have to mess everything up. *throws Edward*

I saw the spoof! Several times, actually. And the bloopers of the spoof. I laughed. A lot.
As for the new trailer...I liked seeing more of the movie (though it strikes me as being uniformly a sort of blue-ish green, what's up with that?) but I didn't like the romance. Honestly, every romantic line that's uttered reminds me of casual chat on something trivial like what flavor of pizza you'd like to order. They're all a bit in the mood of "Hey, so, I only met you, like, last week, but you're totally my entire life now. Sweet."
I also thought the vampires emerging from the mist was cheesy. The action scenes look exciting, though. I may actually go and see it, just out of curiosity.

I don't know anything about Twlight. Never read the books. Don't know the story. Maybe if I'd never read Narnia I'd have the same feelings I do about this film.
Those feelings are - does anyone actually like the look of this film? Seriously. Everywhere I seem to stumble on the net, no-one likes anything about anything to do with Twilight. HP fans seem to have an unusual level of hatred for the books as a rule so they're pouncing on this film, Twilight fans hate HP people back.. etc etc etc.
So I'm just wondering if it's only going to be the people who know nothing about Twilight that are going to go and watch it and give it a chance?

Oh, I'm going to watch it, and I'll give it a chance, but I think the movie had very little to work with. The book scenario is honestly rather implausible. As for everyone hating it - it's a tough sell. People who don't like Twilight also don't like the Twilight movie, and I think a lot of people who like Twilight are a bit skeptical of how the movie's looking. So it's in kind of an awkward spot.
