Ok this is based on the BBC show at any point. Starts off with The team hunting down some strange activatiy when they come across another team (I have yet to think of a name). A team like Torchwood. This is, their leader is an old Flame of Jack's, and she can't age. ((Who Ever plays Jack, I will PM them the needed info.))

Very Large Amounts of Rift Activity in Splott. Jack wasn't so sure that was accurate. They'd been wandering the streets now for twenty minutes, and there wasn't a sign of anything out of the ordinary. Someone would have to check the computers to make sure they were still working.

Well, Toshiko would, anyway.

It was probably stupid of him to have brought the whole team, he reflected. Even Ianto was there. He wouldn't normally have brought Ianto, but since the computers were warning them of Very Large Amounts of Rift Activity, he'd assumed they'd need all the help they could get.

Funny how that worked.

There was an alley coming up in about two blocks, and Jack told himself that if whatever they were looking for didn't show up by the time they reached that alley, they were going back to the Hub. No sense in wasting time.

"Jack, are you sure there's something here?" Owen moaned. He was wandering around in Splott, a rather dodgy neighbourhood. It eerily reminded him of the neighbourhood that he grew up with. Not something he really wanted to remember. He tripped over an abandoned beer can and swore loudly.

"This wouldn't be another one of your little goose chases, now would it?" he asked, adding to his earlier question that he threw at Jack.

Ianto warily followed Jack. He wasn't used to going out on field missions. He was the back up, the support man. Being out in the field made him nervous. Jack, Owen, Gwen, and even Tosh seemed to find excitment in this. Ianto couldn't find the thrill in the possibility of being killed. "Blasted rift activity." He muttered to himself.
