I finally got around to watching the seaon finale. That was intensely sad! It had to at least match 'Exit Wounds' in Torchwood, and probably surpassed it. I thought there would be maybe three sad scenes, and that I would shed a couple tears. But that episode just kept shooting out the heart breakers! Probably for the last ten minutes, I was dripping tears. Just the part where Wilson breaks down and onward, I was wet.
I can't decide what the saddest part was. I'm pretty sure that it was when Wilson was on the hospital bed with Amber. Of course, the part where he breaks down in front of Cuddy was such a shock. Usually men in tv shows don't bawl. Then may shed a tear ot two, but not much else. It was refreshing almost (still heartbreaking though) to see Wilson cry like that.
For some reason I really started crying when Amber told House that "You don't always get what you want" and he leaves the bus.
I'm really waiting to see how this effects the House/Wilson friendship. I really hope they become friends again, eventually. I couldn't stand it if House and Wilson weren't friends.

Me too, on the crying part. I had pretty much cut off the waterworks that started when Wilson was saying goodbye to Amber, and then when he gets home and finds her note, I started crying again.
I hope this doesn't affect their friendship (a great deal). I don't think Wilson hates House, as some have said, but I do think he blames House (somewhat indirectly). If House hadn't gone out and gotten drunk, he wouldn't have needed Amber to pick him up. Of course, the reason she ultimately died was organ damage because of the medicine she was taking, and then getting kidney damage, so she couldn't process the medicine (Amantadine... yay for drug guides).

No idea, Nauriel, so I guess I can't help you there. Sorry.
I just got into watching House like 2 weeks. Sort of late, I know. I pretty much sat down and watched all the episodes in one sitting and proceeded to laugh and cry my eyes out during House's Head and Wilson's Heart. I hope that Wilson doesn't hate House. Friendships shouldn't be broken like that. Can't wait to see what season 5 has in store.
Oh, and I'd like to join this club please.

Okay, on my trans-atlantic flights, they were showing the last three episodes of this past season on one of the channels- the one with the soap opera guy, and then House's Head/Wilson's Heart.
The Wilson's Heart episode makes me cry anyway, because it's so sad... but something I hadn't paid attention to before... when House is on the "heaven" bus with Amber, she's telling him he needs to get off the bus [and wake up], and he tells her he can't, because it doesn't hurt there. I was all, awwww, poor House. I've seen commercials advertising the new season and it looks like there's some definite House/Wilson tension.
@ Naur: the fox website says Sept. 16 at 8 pm/7 pm central

SPOILERS FOR THE SEASON PREMIER!!!!!!!!
So, how'd you all like that episode? I'm a bit depressed that Wilson is leaving, but I know he'll be back by the end of the season. (Because its not House without Wilson)
Wasn't it depressing when Wilson said that he and House weren't friends anymore? House finally opens up and Wilson slams him anyway.
I loved it when Cuddy brought the two together for "couple's counceling"
I can't wait for next episode when House hires someone to spy on Wilson. Very nice.
I havn't mentioned one thing that didn't envolve Wilson, have I? Haha! I did like Cameron in the episode. Usually I don't really care about her, but this time I really liked her, especially when she talked to Wilson.

Wilson... was not my friend this episode. I mean, I know he's grieving and angry and all that, and I understand him wanting to get away... but to tell House that they aren't friends anymore, and probably never were?
Not cool.

I haven't seen the episode yet but I will say that I really hope that there's some real House development from this. Wilson and House have had their spats, but I think House when dealing with Amber, really affected how Wilson perceived him. House has been with Wilson through his divorces, but when someone he loves dies in his arms, House isn't there. So Wilson closes him off entirely.
It's a phase. I'm sure the writers are going to get them back together somehow, whether it be by the work of couples' counseling, I don't know, but I feel like House needs to get on his knees and beg.

I don't know, it probably comes from my preference for House, but I'm siding with House on this one. Even Wilson said that House wasn't the reason Amber died, even though he was the reason she was out that night. She didn't have to get on the bus.
I think the producers/writers whatever have said that they will eventually reconcile, but I'm not sure how. I'm just kinda mad at Wilson because he's so stubborn regarding House... I mean, House was already injured and did the electro brain stuff to find out what happened, which put him into a coma... and I'm not totally sure Wilson even cared.
My reasoning is kind of irrational, but it's what I'm thinking.

Don't worry, I am extremely bias as well when it comes to characters. I love Wilson, moreso than I do House.

Alright, so i saw like the last 30 minutes of the new episode, and boy, i don't know what to think. i am not going to spoil it for anyone, but geez, it was sad. I just never expected what happened to happen.
*shock*
But i will still watch. We really should make "A&U For House" t-shirts, or at least something better than that.

I like the PI. Especially when he was "fixing" the coffee machine and kept interrupting the thought process of House's team. And LOL at his socks. And working out of an ice cream truck.
When the patient told House after her eyes were better that he looked sad, I was all, Poor House. He makes an effort to reach out to Wilson in his own gruff way, and gets the boot again. I'm not having friendly thoughts toward Wilson right now.

So, every episode of House is going to be completely and utterly depressing as long as this whole thing with Wilson goes on and unresolved. In my opinion, of course.
Wilson telling House they aren't friends literally broke my heart. I just could not believe it.
Wilson is my favourite character on the show (well over House)...so it's killing me to see him act like this. Resigning, moving...telling House off. GAH. I just can't take it. *sigh*
I adored the PI in this most recent episode. I'm excited that he has potential to come back in more episodes. And when the woman told House that he looked sad...ACK. SOOOOOOO heartbreaking. I will ALWAYS love Wilson, and I can never not love him...but him making House depressed is SO not cool. XD And if stalking Wilson isn't the most obvious sign that House loves him, then I don't know what else is.
The ONLY good thing about this Wilson/House ordeal is that Robert Sean Leonard is in "civilian" clothes.
Ha ha ha ha...*cough*
