Nerissa waved back to Goldleaf, smiling bravely. "I'm doing fine... only a bit nervous..." she said.
She whirled around at the sound of her mother's voice. "Oh Mum! And Father, too! I'm so glad to see that you made it!" She gave them both a big hug. "Please don't cry, Mum..."
She reached over and patted Nienna on the shoulder. "You're most welcome, dear. Yes, it is very exciting... but also a bit stressful, as you can see." She looked from Nienna to her mother and grinned, shaking her head.

Nia smiled at her cousin warmly,"Oh you'll be just fine! We're all here to support you anyway!" She looked up and around, before setting off to look at all the pretty decorations.

Neri smiled back, squeezing Nia's hand. "I'm so thankful for family like you! You're all so kind and loving." She sighed. "It's nearly time for the wedding to begin... I just hope I don't mess up on the vows." She laughed nervously.

"Of course you won't! You'll be fine!" Aranel put a reassuring hand on Neri's shoulder and smiled at her. Then she she laughed and said, "Just think of all the wedding gifts you'll recieve!"

"Gifts? I had forgotten about gifts..." Nerissa's eyes widened, then she grinned and shook her head. Suddenly, though, she jumped and stared ahead of her, as though concentrating hard. "I hope the cake isn't late in coming..." She laughed, looking at Nellie and Nia. "I'm such a worrier."

"Weddings are supposed to be fun," Goldleaf said, walking closer to her family with Boromir, as was usual, following her and looking like he'd much rather be somewhere else, preferably with a mug of ale in his hand.

Looking over to Goldy, she smiled. "Mmhmm... after the stress is over, perhaps. When the party starts... Oh, and tell Boromir that we'll have plenty of good Gondorian ale just for him." She winked, laughing, and sat back down on a nearby bench, fanning herself.

Nienna was busy looking up at the decorations when Karl slipped up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder. She glanced at him as he motioned for her to come with him to the seats. Nia smiled and went to join as he sat down.

Gilly returned, composed now, and found a seat near the front next to Edmund. She brought plenty of tissues along, just in case. 'Edmund, dear,' she whispered, 'have you remembered to bring in the gift?' Ed shook his head and whispered back to be patient, how much could it hurt to wait two moments after the wedding? Gilly was not precisely pleased, but decided her darling Neri could have the gift once the wedding was over and the party started.
