I've just got back from a fabulous short break in Rome with a gang of my mates. Rome is an amazing city - if you ever get to go there you really must!. we were there for 4 days and didn't come close to seeing it all. The food was delicious, the weather was glorious (blazing hot sunshine in October!) and to top it all off we saw the Pope.
We went to St Peters on Monday evening, but got there to find that a service was about to start. One of my friends is Catholic so we decided to stay, particularly when we found out that the Pope would be present. I'm not religious myself, but even I was awed by the experience.

I'm eagerly awaiting the day when I can come to this thread and say "I'm going to Europe!!!!!!!!!!!"

I really want to go to England someday. I've never left the US, and I think it would be a really good experience. My dad went to England a few years ago with his mom and sister, but said he'd like to go again...
