Hullo there!
Well I know quite a few people will have advent calendars for christmas, and because I'm sad I thought it'd be cool to see what you found behind your door each day.
And what kind of calendar do you have? Does it have scrummy chocolate in, or do you prefer the picture kind?
If you're puzzled and don't know what an advent calendar is, look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advent_Calendar and here for a better picture: http://www.bridgebuilding.com/images/c340fx.jpg
---
Today, I got a raindeer in mine, just a nice little picture.

for the past few years, instead of having a traditional advent calendar, me and my sister have given each other little presents every day of advent (sweets and the like). i didn't think we'd do it this year, with me being at uni, but then yesterday i got a packet from my sis with a present for every day until i go home. she's so sweet!
today, i got a star-shaped candle.

We get chocolate in our advent calendar; not always really fancy stuff (after all, I'm one of seven kids) but it's neat all the same. Today we had Hershey's Kisses.

They're an American thing I guess. It hadn't even struck me that someone might not know.
They're little chocolate candies.
Wrapped:
Several wrapped with one unwrapped:
