You mean BBC America!

Hey, I'd join that petition eMBe!! Let's spam the sci-fi channel to death until they relent, muaha! What say... 58 emails a day? That's not too many, is it? ;)

:P Well, FINE THEN. I'll just sit here with hundreds of footballers in short shorts...it's such a hard life...

I saw a really cool Dr Who t-shirt online and bought it. In my mind. In reality, I have a distinct lack of money, but the t-shirt was pretty awesome.

You have a British Broadcasting Company America?
I've never seen Dr Who on the sci fi channel, all they ever show on there are buffy re runs. I tend to catch it on BBC3 and the UK gold channels. I think a new drama starts today on ITV in britain, it's supposed to be their take on Doctor Who. I shall have to see how it compares, though nothing will ever truly match Doctor Who.
Heroes fans, what episode does CE come in? I've been watching it avidly over the internet and I'm completly and utterly hooked, even though I'm only up to ep8.

Oooh....footballers in short shorts. :swoon: Ha ha ha! WOO!

Yeah, I've seen some pretty amazing Doctor Who...merchandise...and have been very tempted to make some outlandish purchases. :P But, being the poor college student that I am...I haven't. *sigh* How sad.

Yes, we DO have a BBC America...and I was addicted to it when we had satellite! :P Now we don't...and I'm sad...but I can fill some of my British TV comedy quota by watching PBS. :P They used to have the original Doctor Who series on PBS...way back in the day. But then...they stopped. :P And since the new series, Sci Fi was the lucky channel to pick up Doctor Who. :)
Well, I believe that CE comes into the series in episode 12 ("Godsend"). Well, you're more faithful than I am...and have been watched all the episodes before he showed up. :P I've only just started watching the episodes that he's in. :) :P Ha ha ha. From what I've picked up...was in some dreams or something? Oh, I don't know. :P You might want to ask Phoenix for details. :P I have yet to call myself a "fan"...because...I don't think I really am. :P *gasp* But it's a guilty pleasure. Ha ha ha! Only really watching for CE. And besides, it's on at the same time as Keifer...I mean 24. :P

My dad watches soccer for the game. I watch it for the game too, yes, but mainly for the guys in short shorts! They are the few men that actually look good in them. And what did the T-Shirt look like? I almost left the 'r' out of t-shirt!.....

Kess: Christopher Eccleston's character shows up in episode 12, becomes a bigger character from 13 onwards. I have no idea how many episodes he's going to be in. Hopefully forever though...Claude is awesome incarnate.

Don't you mean "Heroes"? :P Well, for me, at least, 24 is on right after Prison Break...and apparently NBC has scheduled Heroes for the same time as 24. And I sadly don't have TiVo...but at least NBC has full episodes on their website. :) Sadly, they don't do the same for Law & Order: Criminal Intent. :P Ha ha ha.

And I agree with Phoenix, Claude rocks! Ha ha ha...I've been watching some series one episodes...and it's so funny seeing a...as tim4x puts it, a "hairy Doctor." :P Ha ha ha!!

And the sound on my laptop has convieniently stopped working midway through ep 9. Meaning I'm gonna have to wait at least 13 weeks to see it. Life is cruel. My laptop is awful, I'm saving up for a vaio, but all the money from my 5pm- 2am babysitting shifts is going to the madagascar fund, so it could be years...

And my friend just bought me round a big shiny Torchwood poster as a belated birthday present. (My B/Day was on the 8th, but my best friend on 10years can't even remeber to buy me anything!). It's now taken pride of place next to the Doctor Who and Serenity posters, and my Top Gear calender :)

D'oh Sorry, I thought we were talking about Doctor WHo and 24 clashing, which now, come to think of it, are on totally different days. How did I mess that up?

Oh NO!! That's horrible!! *hugs Kess * I would probably die if that happened to my computer. I nearly did when my last laptop died. It was such a wonderful computer! .... Now if I can just get the physical hard drive out...I'd feel a little better. :P

A Torchwood poster?! How fun!!!

:P Well, considering this IS a Doctor Who thread, I can understand why you thought we were talking about Doctor Who. Ha ha ha! When Doctor Who was on on Sci Fi...it did clash with something (I can't remember what), but I definately didn't care. Doctor Who took precedence. :P Ha ha ha! I really wish I had TiVo. It would make my life so much simpler. Well, it'd make me (the undecisive person that I am) much happier! :)

LOL! I wish I could watch more TV. Right now I regularly watch Dr. Who, Eureka, So You Think You Can Dance, and LOST.

The sad thing is, we don't have cable, so I have to bug the neighbors every day almost.

What IS TiVo anyways?

TiVo allows you to record up to two episodes at once without a VCR or any of that stuff. All the recording is done via the remote. I think you can record up to 40 hours of programs. The cool thing about it is that you can record one thing while watching another (as long as you are not recording two shows at once in which case you can only watch the shows you are recording or what you already have tivoed)

huh, lucky you. My TiVo only allows me to record one show at a time, and I have to watch that one or another already recorded show.

That's too bad....I have the episode "Boom Town" recorded (the only episode I havn't seen!) Unfortunately I was sick for a whole week so now I have a butt load of home work to do. Why am I even on here? I have a stupid "Ethan Frome" paper I need to do. Jeese Ethan, get a backbone!
