I'm having so much fun reading your banner, JF, I think it's the best thing since sliced bread (Especially since I'm a cheapskate and all I've done is make my friend promise to lend Deathly Hallows to me when he's done rather than actually spend any money.)
My favorite costume has always been Jack's. It's so unique and the many intricate little additions give it so much personality. I can't say I really liked Elizabeth's in AWE.

PD, Yes they all did look great. Orli joked around about how the clothes they had him wearing were painfully and he said something about he hoped that somebody enjoyed them (his clothes) because hd did not. Well I am a somebody and I certainly enjoyed them. lol Sorry I could not resist telling that.
You are welcome.
True, I do have alot of other Will Turner lreated things. I did give them a good home. Thanks for cheering me up.
Same here, same here. I really did love that dress. MAybe they could have given it to you and I could have had my grandmother make me replica (she might could do small scale sewing if she has another outfit to copy) that way we could both have the dress.
Yes they say that they can even make you pass out from being out of breath. Eek I would still like to wear one though.
Yes i shall have to watch it again and yes I love making up reasons to watch Pirates of the Caribbean..for example it is...uh Friday so i should watch Pirates of the Caribbean.
Anie Surion, Ooh I love doing Pirates of the Caribbean accents! I have tried doing allmost all of the Pirates of the Caribbean accents. I have done Elizabeth, Davy, Will, Jack, Barbossa, Jonathon, and Beckett. Which character accents have tried before?

Most of those, except for the last two. I'm not great at Davy but oh well. Doing Barbossa's "ARRRG!"s are super fun! And English accents too. And of course, Jack's who-knows-what accent.

And I wonder if the name Williamsburg is just a coincidence... Lucky you, my brother won't watch these movies, they scare him. Oh, I forgot to say when we were discussing POTC merchandise that I have a pencil with Will's picture all over it, and my mom just bought me an 8-pack of pencils that have Will and Jack on them. I'm definitely not going to use these in a hurry! Oh, I love imitating the characters and doing their their accents!:-D Barbossa's and Davy's are so much fun to do! Well, I'm another somebody and I sure enjoyedWill's outfit in DMC too
you're welcome... I'm happy that cheered you up that's what I always do when there's something Will-ish that I can't get... I just think of all the happy, little Will things I already have
Oh, yes, that would've been amazing if they would've called me up and asked me to take Elizabeth's wedding dress off their hands!!! and of course I would've loaned it to you so you could make a replica But unfortunatly it would've been amazing but almost impossible!
Well, I'm sure a corset couldn't hurt you too much if you only tried it on for a short time and if you didn't lace it too tight... nothing like Gone with the Wind or anything! lol

Anie Surion, Ooh that is so cool! Ah you don't have to worry about being good at it or not. lol I do not know that I am any good at accents either. Yes English accents are a wonderful amount of fun to attempt and Jack's accent is too. However in honesty I have no idea how to describ his accent either. It is a one of a kind is all that I can say about his accent.
Oh and by the way when I said Jonathon, I mean Weathrby (sorry if I had confused anyone).
PD, Yay for Will's outfits then! (high fives PD) lol Well, it is a good idea because it makes very good sense and it doea make you feel a bit better.
Well then we have it all planned out. I wish it could have happened like that. I wanted that dress! (sighs)
True. I certainly would like to wear one. They are beutiful.
Does anyone have idea when At Worlds' end will come to dvd?

@ Meldawen - Heh, thank you. Ooh, I forgot about Jack's. Now that is neat. I always liked Babby's as well... especially the hat.
@ DD - Hmm.... as DMC came out a couple of months after AWE, and it was released on DVD before Christmas, you would think AWE would be released October-November, or something like that, but as it will probably make a lot of money coming up to Christmas, I think it may be a December release as well.
Oh, and can I point you towards a thread DD, called Now Is the Hour, in the Your Life section?

Haha, thanks! I think I've described Jack's accent as the "drunk pirate accent" before, that's the closest I can come to pinning it down.
Yeah, I figured you meant Weatherby, no worries. (That poor man, whoever named an innocent child Weatherby?! )

JF, December is what I thought too. However I wanted to see what everyone else thought about when it might be released and if anyone here had any information on it. Still yet though December is just such a very long time to wait. (sighs) Oh well I supose that we shall just have to talk about it until the time that it is released, when it is released we shall all have to watch it until we go insane (or in my case just More insane ), and then...talk about it some more! lol
Thank you for pointing that thread out to me. I just came from there. I really am sorry that I did not see and reply to that thread sooner.
Anie Surion, You are very welcome. "Drunk pirate accent"? That is the perfect way to describe Jack's accent.
(sigh or reliefe) Oh that is good. I was worried that I might confuse somebody there. Well personaly speaking I do not care much for the name either. I find it a bit hard to pronounce. Is it just me or do some of the actors/actresses seem to leave out the "r" sound in his name as well?

Thanks! I so enjoy classifying things, even if the labels make no sense.
Funny, I haven't heard them say it so I can't really comment on that. I've always thought it was pronounced like the word "weather" with "bee" on the end but I could be wrong.

oh, the movies are a lot of fun to quote! And last night I was watching DMC (again! ) with the grandparents and when Norrington walked in and started saying his lines I couldn't help but clap and cheer oh, well! I was having fun!
People just grow up to fast now... there's no time to be a kid. No, I think it's good to always keep at least a little bit of a kid alive inside... and I've thought this before too 'why should people even care about what you're doing?' I mean if you want to act like a "fool" (although I wouldn't call it that) then that's you. You're not forcing them to... so I never got that. Oh, well!
We're going to have to go to Target then!!! And we'll look until we find them! Oh, the beach towel? I have that one
Weatherby... I've thought that very thing about that poor man's name too (and I'm happy I'm not the only one, Drew, I found his name sorta hard to pronounce as well)... but then again that was probably common for the time... like Cutler

Anie Surion, You are welcome. Ah thank you for putting how it is pronounced. That does help a bit. It is that "r" that I want to leave off...I am getting better at it though. lol
PD, Yeah everyone would think that you were insane. (laughs) Oh well. Ooh that is a very good rule indeed. I shall have to try that one as well. Well I would probabley wear it to church and at a wedding weould be brilliant idea but I would wear if Everywhere if my parents would allow it. lol
I can't believe it either! That is so long. I will go insane. I have very little patience as it is and when it comes to patience to get anything related to Pirates of the Caribbean...I have no patience what so ever. (sighs)
I am glad that I am not the only one who has a bit of a hard time pronouncing his name as well. His name probabley was common for that day in age as was Cutler, I would say. Though I do not know that for a fact. They had some different names back then. However personaly I would never name my son "Cutler or Weathrby" either.
I must agree with you, Anie Surion that I am very glad that Will's mother saw it fit to name him William.

I used to be able to pull a flawless Norrington imitation, but I've seemingly lost that ability.

I'm so lost... Um, let's see,
They're waiting until December to release the DVD? That's just lame... it usually doesn't take anymore than a couple of months!
My British accent is absolutely awful! I always drop into an Austrailian accent, which I'm much better at! (Thanks to watching Steve Irwin religiously when I was little )
Weatherby and Cutler aren't so bad. I've always liked old names, they sound so elegant! Had I had any say in the matter, I would have picked Victoria, Kathrine, Christine, or my sister's name which I'm so jealous of, Cecilia. But no... I got stuck with some name out of a baby names dictionary. Unfair!

I too don't know for sure but I trust the writers. It seemed like they did their homework for these movies... oh, and I agree nowadays I too would never name my son Cutler or Weatherby either Taurquende wrote: I'm so lost... hmmm, well I always thought I liked old fashioned names too... but I guess not those. However I do like the girl names you mentioned they're all so pretty... but Cutler and Weatherby have never really appealed to me for some reason...
