"Wha-?!" cried Jack in surprise as he looked back and turned around, eyes stretched to their widest point.

"Ye failed to mention the fact tha' she's pregnant!" Jack jumped on this conversation like a leapord jumps on it's prey.

Looking to Jack, Will nodded, "Aye... And this is why we must sail to Port Royal as quickly as possible."

The urgency in his eyes grew and he shifted his weight, uneasily, from foot to foot. "So, shall we begin our voyage?

For a moment, Jack was a little taken back by the the most recent discovered fact about Elizabeth and looked rather heartfelt. The worry of William losing the wench and now, possibly child was also beginning to press. Even worse, the mention of The East Indian Traiding Company...with branding irons...made him twitch. His right arm gave a nostalgic twinge of pain.

He stiffened and straightened his hat before responding.

"Aye. . ." He coughed as he jogged his dazed brain. "Right, back onto this event." Jack looked Wiliam over with a hint of pity rising inside. "Welcome to the crew line."

Jack's cold hand gripped Will's when the deal was made, and saw back to shouting orders. "Down th' ship!"

"Down th' ship!" Cried the faint voices of the scattering crewmen. The Flying Dutchman's belly surged foward then down, crashing into the white frothy mouth of the silver ocean below.

It made Will feel almost as if he wasn't in this situation alone. Jack's hand shake and heartfelt response, somewhat shocked Will, but at the same time comforted him.

As the command was ordered to lower the ship, William could only hope that he would not drown....even though in the back of his mind, he knew everything would be all right....

Quickly grasping onto a lose rope, Will could only watch in uncertainty, as the water rose violently up to his neck and then face. Instinctively, he held his breath as everything submerged below the surface.

Just as instinctively, Bootstrap reached out and grasped Will's arm firmly as they submerged, much as he'd done for Jack when-- no. He wasn't going to even begin comparing the two experiences. Will had joined of his own volition, and he wasn't truly bound. As much as he hated it, Bootstrap had to admit that it was the most logical solution. The Dutchman was the fastest underwater, and she could only travel that way if everyone onboard was capable of submerging for that long. It was really the fastest way to reach Port Royal.

Besides, Jack would stick to his word and release the boy immediately after....he hoped.

Three days had passed, and the journey was near it's end. The noise had been muffled the very moment The Dutchman sank beneath the sea line.

Even Jack himself swore, he would never get used to this. He had come to understand that himself and those aboard had an immunity to water. . .or I suppose he should say, the ability to breath whether you’ve grown yourself a pair of gills or not.

Being under the silver ocean was almost the same as being on land. . . but not quite. For one thing, you were always wet and had to get used to your hair and clothes floating around like some kind of a lonely ghost. Another major difference was that it was dark, all of the time, and I’m not talking about the kind of dark you get when you blow out the flame of a candle, but when you’re in the deepest part of the ocean, you get an eerie sense that you’re enveloped in the kind of darkness that’s as old as the world itself, the kind that’s never seen light. . .like you’ve come face to face with darkness in its purest and most natural form.

But, even when you’re hundreds of feet below, there is some sense of light. . .one of them being the many eels and fish that glow like fireflies. It’s spooky, but beautiful to behold.

Jack rested at the helm, gazing and dazed into the vast distance that lie ahead. He could not see what was coming next, but knew they were drawing close. Whether it was the irritating tweak of pain in his right arm, or whether it was some supernaturl gift that was part of being Captain of the Dutchman, he knew.

"William, best settle yerself ready to make for land. The Dutchman is lively to resurface." said Jack Sparrow to Will who could hear the Captain speak in this manifested, weight of silence, for no one had spoken a word for the past two days.

"Aye," William simply replied. It was almost as if there was nothing more to say....at least for now...

The past two days would stay in Will's memory for the rest of his life. Living under the water, in the deep depths of the ocean, where no living human had ever been able to go, had a strange sensation about it.

Sitting himself down on a the stairs of the Dutchman, his heart race quickened as he knew Elizabeth was near. Soon he would be before Beckett, and the rescue attempt of his wife and unborn child would begin.

He made no eye contact with any others, but instead, closed his eyes and strangely enough....took deep breaths in the depths of the blue ocean.

Three days had passed aboard the Black Pearl. They were nearly halfway to Shipwreck Cove now, but the inevitable need for supplies had forced Barbossa to make port in a small fishing town with a minimal British presence. And, as luck (or lack thereof) would have it, they'd no sooner docked than it had decided to start storming. Hard. It had been carrying on like this for most of the day now, and it showed no signs of stopping soon. Every time Barbossa started to think that it might be dying down enough for them to go out to sea, a new wave moved in just out of spite. Typical, that.

"Thought you had some modicum of control o'er this sort o' thing," he grumbled to Tia as they waited out the rain in the town's sole tavern.

"Some modicum," Tia agreed offhandedly, her eyes wandering about the surprisingly crowded room. "I kin conjur, to some degree. Would ye prefer a hurricane instead?"

Barbossa muttered something unintelligible under his breath and glared back down into his drink, doing his best to ignore that there was a leak in the roof just above his head, and that his hat was growing increasingly soaked. He'd already tried moving once, only to discover that there were leaks everywhere, and that one could just as easily dodge the raindrops outside. "If I didn' know better, I'd say this was intentional," he declared to no one in particular.

"I'll accompany the boy ashore, if s'alright with you, cap'n," Bootstrap said, coming up to stand beside Will.

With very little animation on his tired face, Gibbs gazed about the room, and sipped his drink. He didn't ever trust these little honest towns; but for that matter he didn't trust Tia, Barbossa, this dratted rain, or the stocky little wench that brought them drinks. It was not the time to be trusting anyone.

"I have a bad feeling about this place," he muttered dourly. "We've no business docking in places we know nothin' of. I'd as soon brave th' sea."
To make matters worse, he began to feel as if he was being stared at. He tried to shake the feeling with more rum, but it wasn't helping in the least.

"No," Will interupted Bootstrap before he could continue. Standing from his sitting position, his head shook, "Don't do this."

He thought for a moment before continuing, "This is between me and Beckett alone. I must do this alone. Please father, try to understand." His eyes set themselves on Boostrap's bright blue ones, with a sterness.

Barbossa started to speak, only to be cut off by an exceptionally loud thunderclap. "I might as well, were the circumstances different. As it is, we've no dire need to reach Shipwreck Cove immediately, though every moment, o' course, counts. The Pearl might be able t' withstand the storm, but I'll not risk her needlessly," he replied crossly, though with a touch of resignation. "A fine example it'll make, the very Pirate Lord what summoned th' Court showin' up last...save maybe for Sparrow."

Bootstrap folded his arms across his chest, meeting Will's stubbornness with his own. "Someone'll have to distract Beckett, Will. Jack can't do it, unless Beckett is aboard a ship, an' he wouldn't know any of us well enough to pay any heed to what we have to say. Beckett's offer was to you, Will, an' so you are th' only one he'd see an' not immediately suspect treachery. An' you can't very well rescue Elizabeth an' distract Beckett at th' same time. So, let me take care o' that part."

Jack nodded his head in a slow pace and turned his solemn face to the father and son. "Ye best let 'im join ye mate. . ." Jack started gesturing to Bill with raised fingers, "Yer father's been tha' way before ye were even conceived."

Jack grinned, remembering the past the two had together, before he returned his hands to the helm and shouted, "Up th' Dutchman!"

"UP THE DUTCHMAN!" The crewmembers repeated, scattering in directions, to and fro across the deck.

Taking his eyes away from Jack and back to his father, he lowered them softly toward the deck, and then back up into Bill's. "All right," he said with a tone of roughness. It was hard for William to accept the fact that his father wanted to help Elizabeth so eagerly....maybe it was that he felt guilty about leaving his wife after Will was only a few years old.

"I will go to Beckett and you will rescue Elizabeth." He then turned and grasped onto the ledge of the ship, as they began to travel up toward the bright sunlight above sea level.

With a violent rumble, that vibrated the sea The Flying Dutchman lifted her great belly and suddenly, with speed, went upwards towards the rays of sunlight that seperated the darkness of the ocean.
The sealife broke out into panic as the massive ship's speed grew faster and faster.

Bubbles manifested the surface, and the crewmembers braised themselves for the great force that was about to happen.

The silver ocean broken open, and with giant white waves, it spread it's great black mouth and spewed The Flying Dutchman out onto the surface of the water.

William's grip on the ledge of the Dutchman was weak as they neared the surface at such an incredible speed. Eventually, he lost his grap and slid on his back all the way across deck to the other side, slamming his head into the cabin's door. "Ooooo!" he yelped.

Placing a hand on his head, he slowly stood up and regained his balance. Looking to Jack, he asked, "Is surfacing always that dramatic?"
