Well, me and my cousin are both writing books! Her's is more realistic based in modern day but in a made-up country that is secluded and is still in a Rennessance age. And then the series goes for several generations to when the country has caught up with society.

Mine is based in another dimension that has some kind of connection of the real world! (you can tell by the first section of the Elementals book that is up in the fanfic section of AU).

So we read and edit each other's work. I say the best editor is a fellow author, I think. I mean, J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis critiqued each other's work. And if it hadn't been for Lewis, Tolkien wouldn't have even published the Lord of the Rings!

I have a friend who edits mine as well because I edit hers, and my teachers over the years have asked to see it.

No one I know in RL has seen Bobalicious! yet, and I'm not sure why. I guess because it's not the best I can do, just a fleeting idea that sort of grew into a monstrosity... =] In any case, I like it. (it's been updated, by the way! complete with egotistical brags about football skills! & a one shot's been posted up as well!)

If I do give my work over to be edited, which is something I seldom do because I am in fact incredibly lazy and never get around to making the corrections, I give them to a friend of mine, Nan. Her real name is Savannah, but I call her Nan. =] She's a grade below me, but an amazing writer! I don't necessarily give my stories to her for grammatical aid, but more for another writer's opinion. =]

My cousin has only seen the first few paragraphs of the Prologue. And the only others to read it would be anyone who has cared to read it on here. So, no one has read the revised version past part 1 of chapter 1.

And I'll add part 2 as soon as I get more comments on it:

I give my stories to people more for editorial reasons than spelling and gramatical reasons. I don't usually have many problems with spelling and grammar, not to brag.

My grammer is okay... but about my spelling... lets just say I'm the founder of the AU terrible speller's club. Though my spelling has gotten better since I first joined AU/started rping(both are at the same time)

Of course! I'm exceedingly lazy so I'm afraid you'll have to provide me with a link...again. XD

I don't even remember what phonetics are, I just remember how much I hated them! XD! I believe it's the segments of a word, for instance, "an-i-mal".

That's syllables, dearie. =] I think phonetics are the sounds that characters stand for. Of course, I could be making that up, which is probably the truth. =]

For anyone who loves me enough to give me feedback, here's the link to my stories! linketh

Did you really? What'd you think? I personally think its hilarious, simply because it's stupid. =] That was sort of the whole point.
