Life in a Taxi
Driving up the street,
driving down again
that's what life is
without your best friend.
Living in the dark
driving in the day
here the dogs bark
and what people say.
Feelings are numded
and hearts become heavy
when the one you love dies,
because it is too much to carry.
It seems that everyone can live on without it,
driving down this lonely road,
and it feels Im the only one
who can't live with this oversized load.
So now I will drive myself
to the land that I call home
and if anyone has a problem with me
I will just keep on driving alone.
Taxi, taxi!
let me in through your doors!
Taxi, taxi!
'Cause I won't let this heart brake anymore!
Yeah, that's it. It was inspired by my... Grandma.
